Box breathing, also known as square breathing or four-square breathing, is a technique used when taking slow, deep breaths. It can be done several times throughout the day and helps calm nerves and relieve stress. The use of breathing techniques can also be useful in the reduction of anxiety and depression. When you’re not used to it, anxiety and fear might seem difficult to overcome, but there are ways to manage these feelings.
