Tip 1: Work out your why.
What’s the benefit of tackling the task? Maybe you’ll feel less stressed, build a new skill, or have a cleaner place to live.
Tip 2: Time yourself.
Set a timer for 20 minutes to work on your resume or check out TAFE courses. During that time, close social media and put your phone away. Tell yourself you’ll procrastinate later and get going now.
Tip 3: Celebrate the wins.
Swap the to-do list for a ta-da list and write down your achievements, no matter how small.
Tip 4: Move your body.
If you’re feeling uninspired, go for a short walk or do a few stretches.
Tip 5: Pump some music.
Make a playlist of your favorite upbeat songs and listen to them when you feel like you need an extra push.
