WEBSITESo, never getting flashbacks to the HSC—this is bringing back so many memories! Not working with a calculator anymore… Wait, does my calculator work? I can write, and these are actual Year 12 questions. Understand the question.
I actually feel quite sick. I’m not sure if they’re getting hotter or if I’m getting… like it was hard. It was pretty difficult, much more intense. I felt pretty nervous coming in, even though I know these scores mean pretty much nothing. I don’t remember it being that difficult for some reason. Just having to perform the thing, and yeah, it says right… it’s like a big deal. I didn’t know maybe 20 percent of the words that were… it’s just the language that I just have no idea what half these words mean anymore.
I honestly did not understand most of what I was reading. I probably got right about three out of ten. I think I’d get points for creativity. Oh my gosh, I did the same formula probably right. I think the biggest piece of advice that I would give to Year 12 students here who are taking their exam this year is really balance it. Work really hard and do your study, but do take the time to take care of yourself and look after yourself. Prepare as much as you can. Dig into it. Know that everybody prepares differently.
If going to university isn’t what you’re doing, then treat the Year 12 exams as… they’re not going to get you into university, so think about what place they hold in your life. You get to a point where you just can’t study. You’re better off just relaxing and going in nicely.
I didn’t even ask this one. I totally forgot that I didn’t even ask this one.
