How a glass jar can help you! Man Cave TV

Oh, hey! Hey, let me ask you something: have you ever lost your cool over something really small, like this?

“Is this soy? Go up, go up, go up, load!”

I think we can all relate to that.

At The Man Cave, we have an analogy for that. It’s called the glass jar. To the whiteboard!

Imagine for a second that you, and everyone else in the world, has this glass jar inside of them. As you go through your life, you’re met with challenges, and these challenges are in the form of rocks.

So, you might have a fight with your mate—that’s a rock in your jar.
You might be feeling pressure to do better by your parents—that’s another rock in your jar.
You might have been rejected by the person you like—that’s another rock in your jar.

Over time, those rocks build up and up and up until your jar breaks. We all know how that turns out.

The trick is to figure out the right person to talk to about a rock—a challenge—and take it out of your jar. Because when you do that, you’ve got more room for the other future challenges that might be coming up in your life.

Simple!
