How long did it take for you to recover from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome?

Sometimes you do make progress, and you actually really do. Then something happens—like you push it a bit far, or you fall into an old habit, or, for absolutely no reason, you just feel awful again. That is very disheartening and gets you down a lot because you sort of think you’ve made these gains. Then you think you have, but you just fall back down again.

It’s like one step forward, two steps back, or two steps forward, one step back. It’s a bit of a slow process. I think it probably took about six to eight months until I was functioning to the point where I could maybe go to some classes at school again and maybe go to a movie.
