Advice for those being bullied right now

Being bullied really, really sucks. My advice for someone who is experiencing bullying right now: don’t isolate yourself, don’t try and fight on your own. Reach out to the people that you love and trust.

Once you have a really good idea of who you are and what makes you, you, it’s a lot easier to focus on those aspects. That’s the best advice I can give. It sounds a bit cheesy and hippy, but get in contact with yourself. Never stop being the true version of yourself.

It’s really good to let your teachers know. All you have to do is have a little bit of courage to speak up about what’s going on. Lean on your support networks, whoever they may be, because you don’t have to go through it alone.

If you’re different in high school and you’re learning who you are during that time and you’re being you, that’s amazing. Focus on what makes you, you. You’ve gotta look after yourself.

It’s going to stop. You will have a point in your life where you will feel amazing, great, wonderful, and valued. There is an end, and there is a light, and there are a lot of people around you who will support and help you.
